V-Day Is Here, Gift Your Guy With Football Cards

As we all know, Valentines day is upon us, this Thursday to be exact. Every year I struggle finding my man the perfect gift. I sometimes think Valentines Day is kind of a 'girl holiday'  but I don't think it's fair if I don't get my boyfriend anything! I have made so many cutesy notes, cards, and gifts over the years for him so this year I wanted to get hims something he would really love, football cards.

Yes, my boyfriend is 24 years old and wants football cards, haha! He is such a sports fanatic and is collecting tons of sports items for his future home where he thinks he will have a 'man's room' and can display all of his sports memorabilia  Ever since the Superbowl last weekend he has been talking about football cards and I have been playing it off like I'm not paying attention so I can really knock his socks off on Valentines Day. What do you usually gift your man with on Valentines Day? We usually get a heart pizza from Papa Johns, watch a good movie and eat lots of candy!

My Nephew LOVED his Trading Cards

Are you all ready for the weekend like I am? I love Christmas, but it can be so overwhelming and tiring to plan, buy gifts, wrap them, clean, travel, and cook to prepare for the holidays. I always look forward to the holidays, but I'm not going to lie--I'm glad it's over!

We had an amazing couple of days. I love watching all of my loved ones open their gifts. It's a great feeling to know that you make somebody happy with a gift that they love and can use.

I've never seen somebody so excited as my nephew was when he opened his gifts from us. He was practically jumping up and down after opening the trading cards that we bought for him for Christmas. He couldn't wait to open his cards and put them in a binder. It's going to be very easy to shop for him for his birthday and future holidays. We will definitely be getting him more trading cards in the future!

A Great Selection of Trading Cards

I am one of the luckiest girls because my guy is super, super easy to shop for. A lot of my friends complain because they don't know what to get for their guys for the holidays, but I have so many ideas that I usually have to limit myself when shopping for him.

Thanks to the great prices and DCS Sports Cards, I don't have to limit myself when getting him trading cards. He has collected sports cards (football, baseball and hockey) for most of his life and has a huge collection. He has several binders full of these cards and has even sold some of his more valuable ones and made quite a bit of money on them!

DCS has a great selection on their site and I ordered a couple of different packs of cards today to arrive by Christmas. He's going to love these!

Football Season is Starting!

Fall is just around the corner which means that football season has already started! When I think of fall, I think of Sunday games, Monday night football, tailgaiting, great food, and fun times with football. The NFL has a lot of great teams and we always have fun cheering on our favorite team when they play. They are just starting in on some preseason games and I can't wait to get the season in full swing!

To get ready for the season, I got my man a Tom Brady jersey. Kohl's is having a lot of great sales right now and I snagged a deal for 15% off! They also have a ton of tailgaiting gear (coolers, games, and more) as well as other gear for the home and office.

It won't be too long yet before our Sunday tradition will including throwing on some jerseys and making some great snack food to have some friends over and cheer on the Patriots!

He Will Love a Jersey Set to Cheer on His Favorite Team

I love to spend my Sundays in the Fall cheering on my favorite football team. My guy loves that we can spend time together cheering on our favorite players. We always have so much fun! It's a blast and a tradition that we started and look forward to every Sunday in the Fall.

Before football season starts this year, I am ordering him a new jersey. I found this great jersey and helmet set from Target and I know he will just love it! He can wear the jersey on Sundays to watch the NFL games. The helmet will look great in the man cave that we have set up in the basement.

We are planning on having people over on Sundays to cheer on the football team. We can't wait to try out some new recipes on some snack foods and game day grub. Can you tell I'm excited for football season?
