My dad loves the Beatles. They are his favorite band of all time! He has every single CD by the Beatles and he listens to them constantly. My guy is very hands on and good at what he does. He likes to teach me about new and different things that they do at his job. Last night, he couldn't stop talking about what they got accomplished in meetings this last week. They ordered a large quantity of ball screws from SMI (Specialty Motions, INC).

Football Season is Starting!

Fall is just around the corner which means that football season has already started! When I think of fall, I think of Sunday games, Monday night football, tailgaiting, great food, and fun times with football. The NFL has a lot of great teams and we always have fun cheering on our favorite team when they play. They are just starting in on some preseason games and I can't wait to get the season in full swing!

To get ready for the season, I got my man a Tom Brady jersey. Kohl's is having a lot of great sales right now and I snagged a deal for 15% off! They also have a ton of tailgaiting gear (coolers, games, and more) as well as other gear for the home and office.

It won't be too long yet before our Sunday tradition will including throwing on some jerseys and making some great snack food to have some friends over and cheer on the Patriots!

My guy loves going out to eat at Olive Garden. It is his favorite restaurant in the whole world. We go there as much as possible, but it gets very expensive to go out to eat all of the time! The way to his heart is with a good meal. I found a fantastic homemade dressing that tastes exactly like the salad dressing they have at Olive Garden.

All you need is: 1 packet of Good Seasonings Italian Dressing, 1/2 tsp. dried Italian Seasoning, 1/2 tsp table salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp sugar, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tbsp mayo, 1/4 cup olive oil, 2 tbs white vinegar, and 1 1/2 tbsp water. Prepare the Good Seasonings Italian Dressing first, and add the rest of the ingredients after. It's so easy to do and it tastes fantastic!

This goes great over a mixed salad and served with a delicous pasta dish. I prefer chicken parmasan or spaghetti!
