My guy and I love summertime. This is the time of the year that is filled with a ton of fun activities and events. Although Summer is a long time away, I am very excited to make plans for all the things we love to do during our favorite season. We were just talking last week about some of the things we wanted to do.

This coming Summer, we decided that we want to do a lot more camping. We only got to go out a few times last year (we didn't get a new tent until August) and we're hoping to go out a lot more this coming year.

This season, I went to get him shorts. He only has a few pairs because they got weaned out of the closet over the years so I picked him up four pairs of shorts. Grill It!

Last year for Alex's birthday, I got him a grill. He loved it! We use it all the time and it's one of our favorite things to do during the summer evenings. It's a great way to spend more time outside, and we usually enjoy grilling with friends and family. We usually enjoy our creations outside, eating at our patio table. 

This year, I think I'm going to get him a couple of different grilling cookbooks. This is a great gift idea because he can use it with something he already has. I already know he loves to use his grill, so this will be something that I know will be used! These great cookbooks offer so many tasty recipes to try on the grill. It's filled from cover to cover with mouth-watering, savory meals that can be made on the grill. 

This summer, we'll be grilling out more than ever! I can't wait to try out a bunch of recipes from these cookbooks. 

Floating Beer Pong

I hope you all had a great weekend! I sure did. I did a lot of relaxing--it was much needed!
